Winter camp Bachledova dolina

After a successful winter camp on the Ukrainian Krasiya we hosted project participants in Slovakia in beautiful valley Bachledova dolina.

This locality was chosen because of its beautiful scenery and reliable snow conditions. This well-equipped ski resort also provides ideal conditions for beginners but also for experienced skiers.

Skiing in Bachledova valley is Characterized by the fact that in addition to high-quality slopes for skiers and snowboarders, it also offers stunning scenery and views of the High Tatras. Days spent in the lap of nature on the slopes of Jizera, on Furmanec and in the saddle were a balm for the soul and an unforgettable experience for all.

We even attended a typical Goral wedding with a typical ceremony, which was for sure a remarkable experience for all. After sports performance, participants had the opportunity to regenerate in aquapark in Poprad. We're just sorry that we could not visit Belianska cave due to bad weather, but we hope that after this experience, there are many participants who would like to return in here.

This event was again attended by 32 Ukrainian and Slovak university students, Slovak and Ukrainian trainers and organizers of the project. Accommodation was provided in a distinctive village - Zdiar. Skiing and snowboarding courses were this time again accompanied by a rich cultural program. Ukrainian and Slovak partners were acquainted with this truly beautiful part of Slovakia. We visited a museum in Ždiar - Ždiar The House.

We are very pleased that we kept the level of quality and experiences of the participants as did the ukrainian partnerts at the previous event and perhaps we even slightly increased  it.  The whole event was held in mutual friendly atmosphere and good mood. And that was the point - to bring young people together, establish a communication between them through the sport and experiences.

Ďakujeme za podporu Mestu Košice a Slovenskému zväzu jachtingu.
